33 audiotapes of the radio program Green Thursday (1972-1975), the first radio program in the United States geared exclusively to the LGBT community. These rare audiotapes of this groundbreaking radio program document the efforts to break through the isolation homosexuals experienced in the early ‘70’s and to prevent homosexuals from committing suicide.  These unique audiotapes demonstrate the early media sophistication of the LGBT movement in Rochester, NY.
